Medical Bike Fitting

Fitting your bike to you to reduce pain, discomfort, and numbness

Dr. Emma Runquist is a trained medical bike fitter with the goal to help reduce pain, discomfort, and numbness that is provoked or brought on by riding your bike. She is not a performance bike fitter and this bike fit is not designed to improve bike performance but improve your comfort on your bike. Bike fitting is performed in two sessions so you will have the chance to test out the changes made in the first session.

  • During the fittings:
    • You will be expected to ride your bike on a trainer during the sessions.
    • Emma will assess and adjust various components, including:
      • Handlebars
      • Stem
      • Saddle
      • Footwear and clipless pedals
      • Accessories (helmet, gloves, glasses, etc.)
    • Emma will analyze your movement and posture while cycling to ensure optimal fit and performance on both road and trail rides.
    • Emma specializes in fitting road, gravel, triathlon, and mountain bikes. Fat bike fitting is not currently offered.
  • Contact emma@progressions-pt.com to schedule your bike fitting.

  • Important Note: Emma is a bike fit specialist, not a bike mechanic. Please ensure your bike is in good working order before your fitting. Only one bike is fit per package, if you would like Emma to fit multiple bikes, please schedule two packages.
